I was trying to tie in another idea, which relates to the Grail legend, by comparing the Trainman to the Fisher King, who's sort of the shadow-side of the Grail King in some variations of the legend, but I couldn't get it to fit, but somehow the paralell between the Trainman and the ferryman on the River Styx came through instead.
