matrixrefugeeMade the trek to Larry's Comics today, for the first time in months. Larry himself asked me where I'd been; I admitted that I kept meaning to be less of a stranger, but stuff got in the way. My main goal: getting the first issue of the "Supernatural" comic-book series prequel/tie-in. Just been reading it, and it reads almost like "Road to Perdition" with spooks instead of gangsters.
Went to confession... all I'll say is, I felt like I was in some sort of alternate universe version of the Prodigal Son, where instead of the father, the older brother shows up at the door to meet him when he comes home. I managed, but I'm afraid the incident is adding to the problems I already have.
Also did my Mother's Day shopping -- Godiva Chocolates and a weensy ruby-throated hummingbird plushie for my mom; he's bigger than a real one, but I think she'll *LOVE* having him for a pet. And surprise, surprise: the DVD store in the Burlington Mall actually had the first of the "Hellsing" OVA. I'm slightly in shock now, plus the new volume of the "Fullmetal Alchemist" manga is out now
