If you think you have problems, try being a twenty-eight year old woman who can't get her license, can't get a job that uses her talents, so thus she has to work at a goddamned grocery store and put up with maddening teenagers, parents with hideous children and evil old people; can't get a person of the complimentary gender to notice her and start a meaningful relationship, and thus has to suffer in silence because everyone around her is pairing off and getting married, and has some sort of problem going on between her ears that no one can put a name to. Try living with the pain of going through the broken engagement from hell and then seeing the guy you started to like up and marry someone else. And you can't talk to your nearly asexual parents about it because they don't seem to get how important a physical relationship is to you. If anything happened to this woman, no one would probably so much as blink, except her parents; there'd be all of two people at *that* funeral... She tries to make friends, but the one good friend she had goes chasing off halfway across the country, following some idea he could probably pull off better by getting some professional help, leaving her feeling completely abandoned. And at best, she feels completely isolated in social situations, since there's usually so much stimuli it drives her possibly autistic brain nuts.
