I've done a few different ones, and I seem to go back and forth between getting Cobb or Ariadne as a result. Not surprising, as I relate to them the most, and I feel the most confident writing them.

This made me laugh, since I have some personal connection with this guy (my dad works with a nephew of his).

Your result for The Fan Fiction Personality Test...

The True Fan

OOC is blasphemy, canon is everything.

Once you fall in love with a movie, book or TV series, you are loyal like an old dog. You take fanfiction quite serious and use it as a substitute after the canon ran out.

You are probably a walking dictionary of your favourite fandom and you are picky about what you write and read. The closer to the "real thing" fanfiction is, the more you like it.

You rather explore a character in all depth, see new sides and learn more about them than creating new characters or mix up the situations they are in.

And that's me all over, though I'm perfectly fine with a little character drift, or showing a character in a situation where they're a bit different than we know them from the series, though still recognizable (given that a lot of real-world folks tend to wea masks, as it were, it stands to reason that some folks from other universes would, too). Wouldn't be me if I didn't get a bit ticky with some of the questions: lumping lolicon, shounen-ai and Mpreg all into the same bucket is a bit annoying, but there again, Mpreg is my guilty pleasure of choice and I've been writing in a fandom that features plenty of overt and subtle slash elements. Lolicon I tend to regard askance, but it's a personal thing (even still, there are some pairings which make me nervous about the people who think that's a good idea).

Just did a couple different "Which YnM character are you?" quizzes, which don't want to play nice with LiveJournal for some weird reason, so I'll just post my commentary on the results:

First one gave me Tatsumi: I can see that one, as he's a bit of a tight-ass and a rules-lawyer on the surface, though he's really a kind fellow underneath his buttoned-down exterior, and I can be the same way.

The second one gave me... Muraki. I'll admit to being a bit of a manipulator (not as much as I used to be), and I have a bit of a sadistic streak but... I'm nowhere as vicious or cunning -- though I have the potential to be that way. Weird result is weird...

This is pretty much the same reason I've never yet posted any "Which Evangelion character are you" quizness: I always get weird results. On one, I got Shinji (okay, yeah, I cam be too emotionally sensitive at times, so I can see that one); on another, I got Rei (I can be quiet at times, but I'm not *THAT* deadpan...), and the result that really stymied me was Gendo. I Am Not Making This Up. I don't see the similarity, do you?

You Are Pumpkin Bread

You are considerate and generous. Your heart warms when you're able to do something unexpectedly nice for someone else.

You know it can be a cold world out there, and you have plenty of happiness to spread around.

You try to give as much as possible every day, and you know that small acts of kindness can often mean the much.

Whether you're being a good listener or sharing a slice of your pumpkin bread, people feel lucky to be able to count on you.

You Are Wood Burning in the Fireplace

You love to feel cozy and content. After a summer of fun, fall is the perfect time for you to kick back.

Autumn is when you calm down and turn inward. It's the time of year that you start to slow down.

You take time to savor the season. You appreciate every falling leaf and every warm drink in your hand.

You sometimes wish it were fall all year. You try to make each moment last as long as possible.

Oh how I wish it were autumn now...

Your Soul Is Connected to the Fall
You are a somewhat sensitive soul with a tough exterior. You are street smart and wise about the world.
You have the heart of a poet, but you're not too eager to let anyone else see it.

You are very creative and deeply talented. You are still looking for the perfect outlet for your expression.
You embrace change and think the cycles of life are beautiful. You don't shrink away from the darker elements of life.

All rught... will someone explain *THIS* result? I always felt I fit the Ravenclaw model better. :: Glares::

Your result for The Sorting Hat Test...

Slytherin

You scored 32% Order/Chaos, and 37% Moral/Rational

Chaotic Rationality. You don't think much of rules and restrictions; you look at things from an analytical perspective and probably think morality is relative to some extent. Your strength lies in being able to make your own judgments and form your own strategies uninhibited by others; your weakness lies in the wariness other people may have of you, perceiving you as dangerous.

You join people like Theodore Nott, Severus Snape, and Horace Slughorn.

The 4-grid I used to determine this is as follows:

Chaotic Orderly
Moral Gryffindor Hufflepuff
Rational Slytherin Ravenclaw

The other night, one of the local news stations had a piece about a place in Magnolia, Mass. that offers a possible "fix" if not a total cure for learning disabilities, ADHD, even autism spectrum conditions, through exercise and a few other non-chemical techniques (I think one of them was bio-feedback, but I'd have to double-check their site: http://activehealing.org/HTML/home.htm ). I'd actually been looking for a place that offers this kind of treatment, though I'll admit, I'm a tiny bit concerned it might be too little too late, considering my age. I was also leery about calling them to make an appointment for their free screening, because I was afraid they'd turn me down since I'm technically an adult. But, we called and I now have an appointment with them later this afternoon.
