Stuck between a rock and a hard place...

Grr... No one told me Mac mouses (mice?) only have *one* button. So since the MxO software requires a two-button mouse, it's either ditch my MxO hopes and get the Mac, or get the Dell and have to pay the bloody high price for it. That and I can't seem to find any actual Dell stores anywhere. Someone ask Steve Jobs or whoever what they were thinking when they thought up the one-button mouse. For that matter, I'm used to using both mouse buttons, so the transition could be slightly traumatic: I never got the hang of double-clicking files with the left button; I always right-click on files, to access the little menu, then left click on "Open".

Any thoughts on what I should do? I haven't had much patience lately, and it's really starting to wear thin. Again.

Most mice that come with the Wacom digitizer tablet (which you can pick up mighty cheap these days) have two buttons as well. :-)

MR, I hate to break it to you, but Macs have had one-button mice for YEARS. Certainly since before I was born.

Also, there IS no actual Dell store. It's all online.

Two buttons exist

I've got a laptop, but I know for a fact you can get Mac mice with two buttons. I don't exactly know how it *works*, but it exists: http://www.apple.com/mightymouse/

Even if you do get a horrible evil pestilent stupid Mac with their ridiculous and awkward customary mouse attached, you can always just yank the stupid thing out and buy a USB mouse, surely.

Good luck with your shiney new computer.

*Has a Mac Mini*

*is using a wireless LOGITECH keyboard and mouse, typcially windows only*

*BOTH Mouse buttons work perfectly well, and do the things that one would expect each mouse button to do*

I'm not lying. I have this. This is the picture to prove.
