Cake and a strange sunset

I was on my way to work, running between the raindrops, when I almost slipped on something on the pavement of the parking lot...

Looking down, I found it was a slice of cake. Chocolate, no less. I'm not making that up: the Merv's hostess (what *do* you call yourself, in regard to your soulbond?) tripped on a slice of chocolate cake.

Later on, as I was finishing up an order, this orange-red light shining through the front windows caught my attention. I looked up, wondering what it could be: my first guess was a spotlight on a truck or something, and then for some wierd reason, I wondered if it could be a light on a UFO...

It was the sun, shining through the clouds, just before it set. I mean, the clouds around it were black, so it stood out brilliantly.

And then, as if it couldn't get wierder, the Beatles' "Here Comes the Sun" comes on the canned music. Life imitates art imitates life, indeed!

Hehe. Think Source was trying to tell you something, maybe?

I hope I can catch you on AIM sometime tonight, but both my soulmate and her mother -- as well as my valued apprentice -- have told me to probably get my sorry ass to the hospital sometime tonight. I can't breathe for shit this morning, and I've coughed myself into throwing up three times in the hour I've been up. [Don't mean to rant at YOU, but I feel the need to tell SOMEone I care about...] Scare tactice aside from those doctors, it freaking hurts. When it starts being blood there, I tend to cringe. So I may do that later -- because, damn it, it's Steve's birthday today, and I'll be damned if I'm running off to tbe ER in the middle of the afternoon.

Wow, I guess I'm a bit delirious. I doubt that even made SENSE...
