The MxO update is now complete!!!!

....Until the next time the game devs create a new patch...

It's late, so I won't be starting game play until Sunday night. And I'll be playing only every other night for an hour or two, *IF* I've met my daily word quota.

Yes, but the great thing is... No future patches will ever be as big as the first patch when you start the game.

Let me know how it goes. CoH or MxO is next on my list of MMOGs to try out. (Yes, yes, I already play two of the damn things. Shush.)

Whew, that's a relief to hear: I was afraid I'd never be done with that download and that I'd use up the free month of gameplay that's rolled into the software, without ever getting a chance to play or even create a character...

It might be easier for you to get into the MxO: you play EverQuest, non? Sony Online Entertainment bought out the MxO a few months back, and I think if you have an SOE Station Access account, you're able to roll the MxO into that. I'll keep you posted on how it turns out... and let you know which game world server I'm playing on.

A minor correction: If MxO ever puts out online expansions, you may have to do a huge download. Other than that, no worries.

I do play EQ, and I shall keep an eye on your MxO reports. (And keep an eye out for some strategy guides so I have some idea of what character creation and gameplay are like.)
