YOUR IDEAL PARTNER
1. State whether your partner is a male or female.
2. Write down your 8 requirements of your ideal partner.
3. Tag 8 other people and notify them that they are tagged

1. Male (I'm functionally heterosexual by all accounts)

2.1: Must be a practising Catholic
2.2: Must be tidy about his appearance
2.3: Must be open-hearted toward people with headspace dwellers and be open to the fact that when I'm not quite acting like myself, it means that someone else is sharing the front of my forebrain
2.4: Must be willing to wait for the ring and not try to rush me into something I'm not ready for, nor be hung up on having nine bzillion kids (If he is, he'll have to wear one of those prosthetic padded vests that someone once had a young fellow wear to make him keenly aware of what it feels like to be nine-months pregnant, or find someone who has a higher discomfort threshold than I do)
2.5: Must have a good sense of humor and be able to laugh at himself and laugh with other people.
2.6: Must be accepting of people with non-visible disabilities
2.7: Must be hard-working, but not addicted to work (and he must realize that his job is just what he does to support himself and/or his family, that it isn't part of his identity)
2.8: Must like science fiction, and be open toward those who are "Matrix" geeks

Top Ten Ways You Know You're Reading a Fan Fiction of Mine

1. If it's an "A.I." fanfic, Joe is in it somewhere, or there's at least a reference to him, or a cameo appearance by one of his "brothers".

2. If it's a "Matrix" fanfic, it's likely to focus on one of the supporting characters.

3. Also, if it's a "Matrix" fanfic, the fight scenes are quick and to the point (I wish I knew how to choreograph fight scenes...).

4. If it's a slash fic, there's generally a fade to black, or it's done from the POV of the fellow on the bottom, who dissociates from the moment.

5. If it's a songfic, it's probably based off a Golden Oldie.

6. It's probably got some sort of dry humor in it somewhere.

7. If it deals with some of the more squicky varieties of fanficage (ie. Mpreg), there's less focus on the squick and more on the characters and their reaction to it.

8. If it's a crossover, it involves two fandoms that are a logical match, and if it isn't a complete match, I manage to find a way to make it match.

9. There's probably at least one reference somewhere to one of my other fandoms.

10. Three words: Literary Easter Eggs
