Two dull work days

matrixrefugeeWell, today was a bit more hectic, since there's a big storm coming tomorrow and everyone and their brother was restocking their shelves, in case this turns out to be the next Blizzard of 1978. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if I get called in earlier than I'm scheduled for tomorrow's shift.
I wore the black shirt I got the other day... wow... it fits pretty good and rather more importantly, the Man Himself appreciated it, enough that he tried fronting when I put it on for the first time. I do try to keep him from doing that, since it's like trying to run Windows XP Media Edition on a 386 computer: My brain and my senses get overloaded (This doesn't happen with Flood, for some wierd reason).
Thus, he was in and out of my headspace all day, commenting on things and being his usual charming self. I haven't heard him in there lately, so I "rewarded" him by getting him a little present: he's got this thing for throw pillows -- preferrably red, black and gold ones -- and he's been bugging me to get a bunch of them to pile on the head of my bed, to remind him a little of "home", since he's got a similar set-up in the master bedroom of the Chateau. So, I found a lovely red and gold brocade pillow on the clearance shelf, and danged if I didn't feel him get a little misty-eyed. He has a sentimental side, which he keeps carefully hidden.
Only problem is, he's been wheedling me for the information I've been witholding from him. He doesn't know what the Tinkertoy creators are up to, but he's noticed that I've been keeping something from him...
