matrixrefugee: the word 'refugee' in electric green with a background of green matrix code (Chibi!Desire)

My remaining hours this week:

Tomorrow: 12 to 5 pm.
Thursday: 2 to 5 pm.

And I poked at one of the "White Heat" fanfics a little bit tonight. Didn't get much done, though, but this one looks like it's actually going to be rather funny.

Ran the Tinkertoy for a while; the catfight between Siegy and her crewmember is going to the next level... this is gonna be interesting to say the least.

Funny story that one of the supervisors at work shared with me: Apparantly on Saturday it was so cold with the wind chill and all, that they had trouble with the small three-horse merry-go-round near one of the doors. Someone was trying to run it for their kids, and the music box -- which plays hurdy-gurdy style versions of "The Pennsylvania Polka", "In the Good Old Summertime", "Bicycle Built for Two" and (for some really odd reason) "Lara's Theme" from the movie Doctor Zhivago -- wasn't playing right. Instead of trinkling out music, it made this "rr-rr-rr-rr-rr-rr" sound. Said the supervisor, "If I was a kid, I'd be scared to ride on that thing, if it made noises like that at me."

Yes, because nothing says childhood wonder, fun and excitement like a forced march through Bolshievek Russia! What WERE those designers thinking?
I got the Hal "Sin City" poster done, btw-- I think I might redo it, I'm not totally happy with it (I think he looks like Peter Lorre's deranged cousin, frankly), but enjoy anyway:

I think they included that one because it got worked into a sappy, cutesy love song some time back.

And I've said it once already, but I can't say it enough times: Great work on that poster! If Frank Miller did the artwork, say, for a gritty graphic novel set in the "A.I." universe, this would be one of the cover images!
