Perfect Game Night

I had an "A.I." RPG chat.... And we got out early enough that I was still able to nip outside and watch the total lunar eclipse under a fairly clear sky, which won't occur again until 2050! ...And, I was watching the World Series with my dad: he had a fire going in a fireplace he rigged out of old bricks and he was roasting hot dogs while he watched the game on the little old portable TV he got out of someone's trash.
And for the first time since 1918, the Red Sox won the Series!
(Now my novel, "Motion to Deactivate", which has the Sox finally winning in 2118, is now alternative history... I inserted that bit as a contrast for the ending, which has Declan brooding over how he really lost the C4-1N case, even though the People won.... Oh well!)
