Things MR Gives Thanks for
Nov. 26th, 2004 01:17 am-Being alive.
-Having faith in God as I know Him.
-Having a loving family.
-Food/clothing/shelter.
-Having a job.
-Being creative.
-Living in a free country.
-Being healthy (well, aside from some sniffles...).
-For my friends, including but not limited to:
-Laurie, my writing mentor and cyber-sister;
-Mark, my movie-going buddy;
-Ruby, my RP and fanfic pal;
-Puck, my fellow "Matrix" geek;
-"Joshua Falken", the smartest guy I know;
-"Adele"., my next-door neighbor;
-"J.", my therapist...
Lots of little things:
-The moonlight outside my window tonight,
-The Lambert Wilson CD that I ordered coming in the mail yesterday (God, what a voice the man has!),
-Apple pie and chocolate cake,
-Mom cooking dinner (and finding the corkscrew for the alcohol-free Merlot),
-Dad helping me pull the cork out of said alcohol-free Merlot,
-Merry the Budgie entertaining us with his chatter (he's learned some new words: "Wiseguy" and "Get away!" -- from all the times I've told him to "Get away!" from the door when he tries to sneak out under my arm when I'm changing his water),
-Jude Law making the cover of "People" as the World's Sexiest Man Alive,
-all the books I've read and movies/TV shows I've watched and CDs I've listened to this year, and the folks that produced them....
There's an awful lot more, but it's late and I gotta get some sleep... The Oneiromancer is calling me...
