A Day Where Nothing Happened

My mom and I *had* planned to go to First Friday devotions at St. Joseph's today, but I've had this annoying cough the past few days, and I haven't been able to sleep well since it was keeping me awake at night, plus it was supposed to rain... so we decided not to go.

Thus, it didn't rain. (I'll be going into Lowell twice next week, once for an appointment, the other for the Holy Day (Wednesday), so it's probably no terrible loss.) But I *was* able to catch up on some sleep... write a few odds and ends... read... take it easy... I needed a good "nothing happens" sort of day anyway, plus I needed to get some housecleaning done since I'm hoping to go to the Christmas Fair at St. William's tomorrow.
