matrixrefugee: the word 'refugee' in electric green with a background of green matrix code (Hey_Joe)
It always seems to rain on Tuesday, when I'm going into Lowell for my appointments with my therapist... today was no exception, only in this case, that nasty sleety/misty/annoying rain had to fall, which made the sidewalks treacherous.

And it was a so-so night at work: not bad, just dull: might have been the fault of the weather.

But... my dad plugged in the lights on the tree I put lights on! It's so pretty: I did a great job with it, but then again, I learned the art of decorating trees from a master: my dad.

I went into Lowell today when I went to Mass (today's the Feast of the Immaculate Conception), but before Mass I nipped into the Barnes & Noble to buy a Christmas present for someone (I can't say who...). And while I was there, I spotted some bargain Christmas books... including Valentine Davies's "Miracle on 34th Street", the novelization of the 1947 movie (with illustrations by one of my favorite illustrators, Tomie de Paola, who's also a devout Catholic). It was as if St. Nicholas had pointed me right toward it, since Monday was his feast day. Thanks, St. Nick!! (And thank you, Lord....)
