It was a leetle hot today, but I still had a good day:
--Hung out at the library downtown, just pokin' around (Didn't get anything out since I got a big stack from the Tewksbury Library to keep me busy...)
--Poked around online and ordered the soundtrack CD of a little-known recent French movie-musical, "Pas sur la Bouche". Why? Because it features the voice of a certain sexy French beast, of course. ::Grinning::
--Poked around Larry's Comics for the longest time (Kept finding stuff that I like, though...). I passed up one volume of "The Dreaming" compilation for a couple volumes of the illustrated version of Neil Gaiman's "Stardust" -- though now I gotta find the last two volumes of it. Oh well! The thrill of the search...
--I'd selected this wicked chocolatey cake from the bakery, one I've sold a million of, in the past. Tonight I got my chance. Mmmmmm... Dark chocolate pudding and chocolate mousse with a layer of choclate cake in between. Tres bien!
--Presents from my folks: A mechanical toothbrush (I wanted one, and now I *need* one); some lavender soap; a Beanie Baby Yorkie dog; G. K. Chesterton's "Irish Impressions" (a book he wrote after a lengthy visit to Ireland; not so much a travelogue as it's a character study of the Irish people)... and from my dad: $100 US toward getting the new computer we keep talking about! ::Eyes her copy of the MxO software with anticipation...::
--Getting ice cream with my dad, and riding in the convertible with the top down. Perfect.
