Miserable day...
Jul. 2nd, 2005 11:58 pmAnd I don't even know *why* I was miserable. I slept good last night, I took my vitamins and my 5-HTP, and the weather has improved vastly. I spent most of my shift grinding my teeth, unable to stand being around so many people. I almost collapsed from mental exhaustion. I also found out I'll have to work on Monday, but at least it's only for four hours, and it's time and a half pay, so it evens out.
A couple of bright spots: the store had a paperback book sale, and in amongst all the dreadful romance novels, I found a copy of William Gibson's "Pattern Recognition", which I snapped up for a couple of dollars. And my dad did a test of the Flag of Lights (For the new folks reading this, here's the story of the Flag of Lights. The blue lights are a little messed-up -- some have gone out, or gone missing -- so he'll have to replace those. But it looks good!
