Happy Birthday, Neil Gaiman
Nov. 11th, 2005 12:21 amI just can't remember how old he actually is... somewhere in his mid-forties, but he sure doesn't look like it. The userpic for this entry is based off the pic on the back dust jacket of "Anansi Boys". Hm, think I'll read some "Sandman" comics and maybe a few short stories from "Smoke and Mirrors" before I turn in for the night.
And Sieges went on her first mission today, came out of it in one piece, with 260 XP (she needs 400 to get to the next level, so I'm proud of my little girl for making such good progress so soon); come on, baby, you just need 140 more. Still trying to come up with a non-Mary Sue-ish sounding backstory for her, all I know about her is that she is/was a shy and bookish college student (sound familiar?).
EDIT TO ADD: She just posted her notes on her second day
One of the beauties of the MxO (not sure if this is true of all MORPGs), and one of my favorite features is taking screenshots. I've been taking lots of pics of Sieges in action and as she wanders around the Mega-City, looking for adventure. Only trouble was, I thought for some wierd reason they weren't downloading into my machine... but I took a look in the program folder for the MxO software and found them there. *headdesk* I'm planning on making some LJ-type icons from them, if anyone's interested.
