Collapsing Christmas Tree

Right on my head, no less. I was putting my mom's collection of angel Christmas ornaments on our tree, when the whole thing tipped over on me. I have no idea how much wreckage happened, since I freaked out horribly and I fled from the room in hysterics. Aspie moment and everything. We've been putting Christmas trees up for 30 years, and not once until now has one fallen over (The time my tree fell over doesn't count, since it was only three feet tall).

And now I'm kicking myself for freaking out horribly. Having an Exile who's impervious to pain in my headspace doesn't quite help.

And the MxO patch went through! Siegy shied away from running the new critical mission that came through, but it might have been just as well: the client crashed. Ironically, this happened right at midnight, right in time for Radio Zero-One. ::Points up to the link::

But some more good news: I. Bought. "Fight Club". I decided to buy it instead of borrow it from one of the libraries. Whoa. G.K. Chesterton would probably love this, at least the theory, maybe not *quite* the methods of Project Mayhem. I just can't put it down.

Just made this one icon, since my headspace seems to be Exile Central a lot of the time (No, Persephone has not shown up: I've heard her voice by way of the Merv's hearing, but that's as far as it's gone. I don't think she's aware of the connection between her husband and my headspace. I shudder to think what *might* happen.)... one of these days I have to make an animated GIF of the Houseparty....
