matrixrefugee: the word 'refugee' in electric green with a background of green matrix code (Default)
Just too much emotional and physical stress lately. That time of the month, this cough, work, misunderstandings...

matrixrefugee: the word 'refugee' in electric green with a background of green matrix code (Celtic cross)
It's been a while since I posted about what's going down in my parish...

--O'Regan the wretch's retirement party got cancelled since it snowed like mad that day. Not that I was planning to attend: John would have come out of hiding and started fronting like whoa and gotten the both of us in deep trouble.

However, another pastor hasn't been found for us yet, so we've had to put up with him still. He's lousy at giving out Communion: practically punched me in the tongue today at Mass, and danged if that didn't wake John up. I had to swat the demon hunter back down since I just didn't have the energy to deal with him.

--And O'Malley the Mook has been made a cardinal. Instead of getting the red hat, he should be getting a red rump for the way he's utterly flummoxed this diocese.

--So far, nothing's been said about us not getting closed, thus it looks like we're going down on March 31st. Unless things get dead-locked because the home for troubled teenagers in the old rectory building can't find another location. Personally, I think we should enlist the aid of those troubled teenagers and have them use their anger or whatever to chase away any demolition crews that show up on April 1st. Hell hath no fury like a bunch of angry hormonal kids.

In other news:

--GAFF is still down. Just in time for me to have tripped over a cache of really gross Merovingian/OMC slash fics. Oyyyyyy.... I know His Unholy Highness has many strange tastes, but even a sybarite like him has his limits.
