Back to work

I have to admit, I'm feeling a little numb and a little regretful and at one point I had to keep from crying when I was on my lunchbreak and I was about to head back to the front end. But I managed to keep things together at work today. Yesterday, after we got back from the cemetary, I helped my dad put together a nice funerary basket with greens from the trees in our yard, which we later brought and placed in between my grandfather's and Aunt Mary's graves.

Busy morning

I've been trying to take it easy today and hopefully tomorrow, since the rush is going to start Monday... But I needed to run a few errands, including getting my hair finally cut. Took the hairdresser the better part of twenty minutes, it was such a mess.

Also went to Blockbuster Video and rented "Monster House" -- which I'd wanted to get at Hallowe'en, but they couldn't seem to be able to keep it in the store -- and (mea culpa) what at our house is known as "the damned movie". I used a leftover gift card from last Christmas and somehow found out that those things are good till the year 3025. That's what the clerk, a level-headed older gentleman, told me.
