Major Dresden-fix
Mar. 10th, 2007 12:05 amWent to the Barnes & Noble in Salem, NH while my mom had an appointment with her therapist, and I was lucky to find four more Dresden Files books -- 1, 2, 5 & 6; I'd been able to get 7 last week and I just finished 8. This should keep me going for a while until Book 9 comes out next month. Plus, I also discovered that Jim Butcher has a LiveJournal (
jimbutcher, as does a guy who's working on writing a manual for a Dresden Files RPG (
drivingblind). Added both to my friends list to keep tabs on what's coming up.
Continued poking at "The Death God's Daughter...": didn't get much substantial done on it, but I have my good days and my so-so days. I *did* manage to knock together a chapter for "Dragon in Distress", a prologue of sorts, in which I found out quite a lot about Vincent Feffner, the dragon of the title: he's a lot older than I thought, and he's a bit deranged, but there again, having a transfusion from a dragon might cause your brain to get unglued.
And the icy death-grip that the cold weather has had seems to be letting up a bit. I actually *didn't* have to wrap up like a mummy on my way home from work today.
