Alternately frazzled and fine
Mar. 28th, 2007 02:22 pmWork and just general emotional malaise has been keeping me from posting here. I had an appointment with my therapist Monday: she seems to think I might want to consider medication, but I'm not keen on it. I'm at least able to keep myself functional, go to work, do the day to day, but I feel hollow. Only praying and reading and working on "The Death-God's Daughter..." and listening to the radio has kept the worst of the chatter at bay. I'll admit, I'm still leery of my internet connection and it's new quirks. I love the high speed, but I'm leery of the actual technology involved. Still have to call Verizon and see what I have to do to take care of it in case of emergency, ie. thunderstorms.
Went to the Boston Flower Show on Saturday and Sunday with my dad; helped him help his friend the Heimlich bunch take down their trade booth Sunday when the show closed. Had a great time listening to a couple folk bands playing at the show, including an Andean panpipe band and four folks playing banjo, guitar and hurdy-gurdy.
Also annoyed with the obligatory porno patch in the most recent episode of "Supernatural". I might switch my "Dresden Files TV episodes on the website"-watching night to Thursday. Kripke, you have one strike left: Don't blow it, or I'm heading for the hills, on the heels of a snarky wizard with a talking skull who can PWN your hormonal demon-hunters out of the water.
