"For the Time Being..."

I think the poem above, by W.H. Auden sums up very well the feelings one gets while taking down Christmas decorations and packing them away till next year. I've been taking down the *small* Christmas tree in my room and vaccuuming up the shed needles. It's a sad thing to do, and it only makes me realize that Lent is close at hand and very early this year. But time marches on and we can only do what we can do to keep in step.
Also, the three of us watched the utterly excellent classic B&W movie "Seargean York", which I can't help but reccommend very highly. I'd say more, but I'm tired after a long day of work, and a long, rewarding evening in MxO.
