Kitchen Demolition, day eighteen

The walls are now sheetrocked and painted a lovely shade of pale moss-green, and we now have new windows and new light switches and electrical sockets. The room is slowly starting to look like a room again and less like a hideous mess, though the sink is still resting on a wooden frame and the floor is still stripped down to the bare boards. I think the one family member who's enjoying this the most is Oskar the Cockatiel, since we moved his cage up to the bathroom on the second floor -- where That Parakeet can't land on his cage and be annoyingly cute (Oz's thoughts, not ours: he's terrified of Merry).
