I've heard this hymn performed by everything from a choir with a full orchestra, to an eighty-year old nun playing an electric organ, but this one is incredible, though not just for it's oddness:

31_days fic: Grigori Contiuum, now with more Grigori.

This is probably the first time in this series that no canonic characters have appeared onscreen, and this gives me a chance to develop the Grigori side of the story a little more. This is also the first time I've written Enniel Prussot, whom I rather like even though he's manipulative enough to give even Gendo Ikari a run for his money: part of Enniel's secret is that he's much more jovial and inviting.

Author's Note: The plot is thickening in this entry in the ambitious NGE project: I may have a rough idea of what happens, but I'm finding things out about the story and its characters as I write it, and it seems there's something a little darker about my original female character than I thought, though I think she's hiding it even from herself. Takes place sometime during Episode 7: Look closely and you might get a hint of just who Gendo's mysterious caller might be...
