Nope, the three of us (Mom, Dad and I) are going out to Cracker Barrel for dinner tomorrow. Because of the bad blood between us and most of the relatives on either side of the family (long story...) the Norman Rockwell Thanksgiving scene is as foreign to me as the surface of the moon, even though it is something which I would like to have someday...

But... when it comes to the meal itself I'd say we're quiet sticklers for tradition: turkey, cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, stuffing, the sort of things one thinks of when someone says "Thanksgiving dinner".

I know when Haley ditched Hotchner two years back, I yelled at the screen, "Die in a fire, you ungrateful bitch! You don't throw out a modern day St. George like him, like he was yesterday's newspaper! If you can't be happy with him, one day you'll regret this, when you face down the kind of dragons he slays every day and he's not there to protect you or avenge you because you broke his heart! If you won't make him happy, there's dozens of fangirls who will, and I am one of 'em!" But now... I'm eating my words.

Also good to see Hotch in a righteous, blind fury. Slay them dragons, Aaron! We're rooting for you!

Somehow I was thinking of both the manga "Lone Wolf and Cub" and the movie version of "Road to Perdition" as I was watching this. Kudos to the sound editors for heightening the "Road to Perdition" effect by erasing the sound in key places, filling it in with similar ghostly-sounding music.
