Wintry walk
Dec. 7th, 2009 04:55 pmTook a walk earlier with my mom: she had an appointment at the dentist for a root canal, and we had some dry cleaning that needed to be dropped off, so I offered to take the dry cleaning. While she was at the appointment, I went to do a little Christmas shopping for the giving tree at St. Michael's, where we've been going to the 6 p.m. Mass the weeks my dad has to work Sunday. Some less fortunate lady is going to get a nice blue bathrobe and a pair of comfy slippers to keep her warm around the house this winter.
I'm still hammering out the last bits of the next chapter of the infamous Twilight crossover: hopefully will have that posted later tonight. As per usual, I'm having too much writing a somewhat lengthy conversation between Edward and Muraki, featuring the latter talking the former into a corner. Muraki's a lot like the Merovingian in the Matrix series that way: get him talking and he's hard to shut up or dodge the verbal nets he weaves around you.
