Re: the Senatorial Election here in Massachusetts

I know what "zombie voters" are, but the phrase, as used in a Boston Herald headline, made me think the polls would turn into a George Romero movie.

That said, it took longer to drive to the poll than to actually *be* in the poll, the traffic was so backed-up. At least the special election fell on a library night, so that made it easier for us since we needed to be at the library anyway.

Unfortunately, I was so dog-tired from two days of hauling groceries and shoveling snow, that I didn't really get many books out of the library aside from a book of Japanese folk tales and Charlaine Harris's "From Dead to Worse".

More to come when I have washed the dishes and taken a much-needed warm bubble bath, and said more to come is likely to be another round of anime randomosity including speculations on Abel Nightroad's sweet tooth, Muraki's glass eye, and whether a zanpaktou can stand up to a wacky female energy vampire with a big-ass assault rifle that's been retrofitted with a crossbow on top,
