matrixrefugee: the word 'refugee' in electric green with a background of green matrix code ("Enniel Prussot")
I'd promised this fic yesterday the other night Monday but I'd felt too drained to post it then. Still feeling pretty beat-up (to the point that I feel like I somehow lost a few IQ points), but I figured I'd keep my word about posting this, plus I need to get a completed project or two out of the way so I can free up my mind and focus on the fics I'd promised for some [livejournal.com profile] help_haiti donors. (And to anyone who wants to help out, I've still got slots open on their Lightning Round, over Here; I need an incentive to write more fics -- particularly YnM ones -- like I need a hole in the head!)

Title: "DreamWalking"
Author: "Matrix Refugee"
Rating: PG-13
Pairing: Muraki/Tatsumi
Genre: Drama, Supernatural, Slash
Chapter: One-shot
Comments: I have no idea where this fic came from initially, though it's quite obviously inspired by Tsuzuki's weird dream at the very start of Vol 5 of the manga. I was going to remix this for another prompt on InsaneJournal's "porn_battle", in this case Yami no Matsuei, Muraki/Tatsumi, substitute, but the challenge was closed before I could write this. But I went ahead with it anyway (plus it gives me a chance to play with a theory of mine, that The Not So Good Doc might be able to "dreamwalk", ie. insert himself into people's dreams and mess with them...)
Disclaimer: I do not own Yami no Matsuei, aka Descendants of Darkness, it’s characters, concepts and other indicia, which are the intellectual property of Yoko Matsushita, Hiroko Tokita, Manga Entertainment, Viz Media, Hakusensha, Central Park Media, et al.

For once, Tsuzuki had remembered to file his paperwork, some of it even in a timely manner... )
matrixrefugee: the word 'refugee' in electric green with a background of green matrix code (Agent Smith)
Yes, I know this week has been a messy one between work injuries and snowstorms and unplowed sidewalks and missed appointments with one's therapist, but we've got... three fics for the [livejournal.com profile] help_haiti challenge to write. Please get your neurons together in a timely fashion and focus on those instead of on other fandoms! That includes the borderline song-fic inspired by The Who's "Behind Blue Eyes" and the till now thankfully forgotten memory of the OOC!Angsty!Agent Smith-fic based on said song which we read back in the day. I could see using this song for a fic about a younger and less corrupt Muraki (even though his eyes are silvery-grey and not exactly blue, though some frames in the anime give them a bluish tinge depending on lighting or the animator), but not an Agent: they don't get angsty since they don't quite have emotions, except for Smith, but then then again, he actually has them and hates them. If you're going to write about blue-eyed characters, you've got a AU "A.I." fic about David to write.

MR's brain: But we wrote half of it, what about jotting a few notes on --

MR: Not another word!
