My marvelous friend Mark is in town for two weeks, on break from college at the Franciscan University of Steubenville and Sunday, out of the blue, he called me and asked me if I was doing anything? I very gladly invited him to visit. He only stayed an hour or so since he's trying to touch base with his friends in the area (and he seems to be friends with half the people on the North Shore. ::grins affectionately:: ), but he shared some of his film creations with me, including "The Rite of Right Writing", a funny, inspired little short about... lack of inspiration. Move over, "8 1/2".... And also a joint effort he'd helped a friend shoot, "Ulterior Motive", a ten-minute action film in which Mark played one of the bad guys!
