MxO: the Revenge of the Reaper
Heh-heh-heh-heh...
I came out of my self-imposed sabbatical from the MxO just to see if Kabell, one of the co-founders of the Devil's Advocates and Sieges's adoptive father, had jacked in since my little girl needed a father-daughter talk. Well, they never got the chance to talk, but they *did* end up raiding Zero-One Archive together, which got Sieges's mind off her worries for a bit.
A little background: "Diabolique" (Not her real name), the god-moding Mary Sue vampire-player, came back to the game and is trying to rampage again. Problem is, her antics pissed off a *LOT* of people, so now we've all got the eagle eye on her. She came crawling to Anubis and I with a big plan to take over the Matrix, take down the Merv, and make herself queen of "the new Matrix". The two of us -- maybe make that four of us, if you count Marrith and Morraeon -- basically snarked her down. In the end, Anubis gave Sieges permission to tear into Diabolique, getting revenge for the times that Diabolique has tried to mistake Sieges for a snack bar. I'm amazed that at lvl 49, I managed to get Diabolique down by a third of her health.
Now I have to put up with Sieges/Morraeon chanting "Reapers rule! Vampires drool!" in my headspace...
In other news, my dad is currently puttering in the yard, drilling holes in plastic jack o'lanterns and putting fancy-schmancy blinking Christmas lights in them.
