Gaahhh....

Had to take an unexpected sick day: I woke up this morning with a sore throat and a fever of 101.9 F, which is high for me since my normal body temp is something like 97.8 F I've been spending the morning sleeping, and thanks to some boiling hot tea and Tylenol, I finally got the fever to break. Now I feel like I'd better take another bath after I had one last night!

Finished reading Terry Pratchett's "Reaper Man": hilarious and existential at the same time, and now I'm reading "Mort", which I probably should have read first. Still, it's as much fun as any of Pterry's stuff!

Ouch...sorry to hear that! If you drank I'd recommend a Theraflu Hot Toddy, but as is just bundle up, sweat it out, and sleeeeep the sweet sleep of the wicked. I've got the beginning ticklings of a sore thoat that's worrying me, since my throat's my weak point- I commisserate!
