matrixrefugee: the word 'refugee' in electric green with a background of green matrix code (Fourth_of_July)

Haven't voted yet, and I probably won't until my dad gets home (I almost went to the polls after work, but I really didn't feel up to it), but I can hardly wait for this day to be over so I don't have to listen to the anNOYing political ads/news coverage on the TV and the radio. Man, those politicians sound not much different from kids arguing on the playground, or people being bitchy at work. Only I get paid to listen to people being bitchy at work.

And the sheer amount of squabbling between Republicans and Democrats makes me so glad I switched to being Libertarian. Screw bipartisan politics. But don't get me started on some of the wierd parties we have in this state. Prime example: the "Green Rainbow Party". I mean, whatthehell is a "green rainbow" anyway?! Okay, yeah, I found out what they were, and some of the news items I ran across about them made me think of those slash/yaoi fangurlz who go "EW!! ICKY HET SECKS!!1111" over gen-fic or "U R TEH H0M0PH0B3!!!11111" if you admit to being uncomfortable with some slash pairing.

The green rainbow party? Is that a new party, or a new name for the green party? WTF? And yeah, I'm glad I'm not in either of those two parties (though the Green party is mostly liberal) but it seems to me they're just hypocrites with one another.

The green rainbows are a local party, apparently composed of aging hippies and environmentalists of the tree-hugging variety, besides the fantwit-like personages I briefly ranted about.

It's enough to make me want to vote for Cthullhu and be done with it. ::Evil grin::

One of my cousins became legal age to vote during the California governor elections. I believe she voted for a sumo wrestler. I think Libertarian suits you to a degree (from what I know of them). It doesn't mean you have to instantly become a hippie, but it's a little more accepting than the bipartisan system.
I myself am a proud supporter of the Official Monster Raving Looney Party. http://www.omrlp.com/
Where else can I voice my concern about proper headwear, and support the "Tax credits will be paid to nice people. There will be a “total bastard” tax for everyone else"-proposal?
