That's grand- at my last job we had a temporary (thank God) supervisor filling in for our main one when he went on "paternity leave". Oh LORD, was she a bad one! Basically half her *barked* orders to us were met with puzzled, sad faces, and when our real boss came back, the first thing he said to us was, "I am SO very sorry!"
Happy things are looking up!
