MxO good news and bad news

The good news: looks like things may be shaping up with my financial situation that I could be back with the MxO in a week or two.

The bad news is: someone in my faction decided to merge it with another, larger faction. I'm sad that this had to happen, but maybe it was meant to be. Taking care of a faction is an incredible amount of work, and I really don't have what it takes to lead a group. A crew, maybe, but not a whole faction.

My advice to you is, if you do start again, try not to get *so* very involved this time, emotionally or time-wise or whatever. That sounds weird, probably selfish or something, but hear me out: I get the feeling (and from reading some of your past posts about the MxO) that you're one of those people that really throws themselves into something they're doing, and when things go bad you feel wretched far more than you ought to. After all, at the end of the day, it's a game- don't let it consume your life, just be a nice diversion from it sometimes.

Yeah, it's a little sad to see this idea of mine folding while I was away, but I was talking with a buddy of mine who pretty much walked me through the worst of my feelings, and who gave me a few ideas on how to move on from this.
