Not a good combination, and I can thank That Time of the Month for it. Add to this, I didn't sleep well last night since I've been having chills because of The Same. For some odd reason, when this little gift of being female comes around, no matter how warm it is or cool it is, my body temperature drops a good five degrees and I run a little cool anyway. Didn't help that it's also gotten chilly -- finally! -- and I couldn't find my flannel nightgown last night.
But, in better news, I've had a few little adventures: the three of us drove out to Sturbridge (home of the famous Old Sturbridge Village) to a small Model A Ford show. Lots of lovely restored cars and a few charmingly distressed ones, including one owned by a couple who'd "cutesed" up the back bumper by adding a few interesting items like a pot of artificial flowers, some antique tennis racquets, a canoo paddle, and an antique canary cage. Also, there was one with a cardboard sign wired to the back, "Will play banjo music for gas money", the fellow who owned it wasn't around, unfortunately, or I would have given him a saw buck (five dollars) to hear him play.
