matrixrefugee...The more I seem to get buried
I was going to post a happy entry about my dad coming home from Ohio safe and sound, but that's gotten clouded over by more emotional crud. The news media is running more stuff about the clergy abuse scandal into the ground -- Hey, reporters, get your facts straight: a child is more likely to be abused by a relative or a teacher than by a clergyman of any faith. And I'm just plain worn out by a dispute over the Dresden Files graphic novel that I tried to get via eBay, but there seems to be some sort of mix-up in the mail...
Needless to say, thanks for the kind thoughts and words from everyone the past couple days. I just wish I could be more perky for you...

I posted a rather long response to the clergy-media issue under crowdog's thread..please don't take offense to it, it was merely my take on the situation, and afforded some info for you based on the forensic training I recieved surrounding abuse. and don't worry about being perky for us..it's your journal, hon..just be. :)
