NaNoWriMo Day Two: Got a good headwind behind me

I woke up early, thanks to the end of Daylight Savings Time (which always messes up my internal clock), so I got another good chunk typed up. The beauty of writing this story is, I know what happens and I know the chronology already. It's just a matter of taking those ideas and putting them into words and getting those words typed down in the document I've got sitting open on my screen.

I got just over 2000 words. But I STILL can't update the fecking word count on the site, it's running slower than a diesel train!

I looked into the problem with the word counter: turns out that feature doesn't get turned on until November 25th, when people are reaching the home stretch...
