matrixrefugee: the word 'refugee' in electric green with a background of green matrix code (Merovingian)

YAY!!! Neil Gaiman will be in Boston sometime this year, promoting his new book "Anansi Boys"

::Kicks Google for the gawdawful *SMALL* pictures of Lambert Wilson I kept finding when I ran my latest pic trawl a few minutes ago:: (Hey, I needed a Lambert luuurve fix...)

And I'm scratching my head trying to come up with names for the DegSep characters I'm shaping, namely, Persephone and the Merv's maddening sister- and brother-in-law (Perse's sister and said sister's husband, who are the reverse of Perse and the Merv: She's somewhat loud and bossy, he's a bit put-upon) and their brood of offspring (Three sons, two daughters; one of the sons hits on Ref at one point), who show up after the Maintainers start rampaging.

*grumbles.* Just a passing thought: I saw you on AIM, but didn't want to bother. The story in brief: after a great deal of debate and discussion with the people on FZ[for which your thing went through, btw], Trin and I have decided to file some papers, in order to effectively 'exploit the System': subversive change from within, being the idea: as well as conveniently tax-exampt hardware. *laughs.* But filing for incorporation as 'a religious organization' requires a bit more diplomacy than I had at first thought, and I was pacing around the basement earlier, and told Trin, effectively, that "I don't have a goddamn clue as to how to run a 'corporation', you realize that. I'm the Anti-corporation."

She paused for a moment, and then said thoughtfully, "Why don't you ask the Merovingian?"

...I caught myself in the middle of telling her that that was ridiculous... because she has a point.

*laughs softly.* So there it is.

Come to think of it, the Merv is somewhat anti-corporation in his own way, even though he's part of the system: he's just exploiting it for his own designs, namely, staying in existence, pretending to be a run-of-the-mill, albeit astronomically wealthy bluepill businessman in order to continue hiding in plain sight. He just detests the way the corporation is run.

P.S. Thanks for letting me join "for_zion". I'm still not sure how much I'll be able to contribute, but I'm definately interested.

Hey, by any chance have you read Stephen Faller's "Beyond the Matrix: Revolutions and Revelations"?

He just wants to run it himself, that's his only gripe. *pets awfully cute homicically ruthless dictator wannabe* Also, if I do go to Paris, think about my tentative question on my LJ about messages or greetings people/fans might want me to convey to him. I can't print out more than an A4 per person if even that as this is just a thought, but it might be nice to have something to give to him to show he has international fans out there.

::Grinning:: Ooh, yess! Even if I have to take a train or two into Boston; getting one of my "Sandman" books autographed by the Dream King himself would be a dream come true. Have you ever heard his voice? (I think he's done the audio book version of his "Coraline") I always hear his voice as Dream's voice when I'm reading a certain graphic novel series...

No, I haven't. In fact I've only recently started reading the series. For some reason everyone sounds the same in my head so it wouldn't make much difference. Let us know how it went.
