"Floating Air Conditioners Have Been Bolted Down"

No, that is not a line of surrealist poetry; it's one of the bugs that got fixed in the MxO, according to their most recent patch/bug-fixing report. I never realized until now how funny they were, until I read today's rundown.

It's been a quietly busy day: I finally finished Chapter Four of "The Smoke of Satan...", which now needs a nifty title so I can get cracking typing it. I've got both versions ready to go: the R-rated version, complete with a deliciously wierd encounter between two demons, and the PG-13 version, with the near bar-brawl between a snarky demon and a certain demon-hunter.

And I finally got started on another DegSep ficlet I've been promising Laurie: Smith confronting Flood, re: the Merv's stylish henchman's attention to Emily.

You've never enjoyed the fun that are patch notes before? *grins* There's always some fun bugs that need fixing, and it's just so much fun when they are fixed. Stick around for a while, and I'm sure you'll see plenty of interesting stuff.

I have to admit, this is a first: I was paying more attention to the Live Events Summaries on the MxO news site than I did to the patch/bug fix updates. But my guess is the bugs are funnier to the people who aren't actually playing the game, and who never had to deal with them and the havoc some of them probably cause. ;8^D

Oh, I don't know. As a live player, a lot of bug fixes are either 'Yes! Finally!' or '... I didn't even know this was a problem.' *grins*
