Friday Sept. 23: Boston, Harvard Book Store

Mark that on your calenders, Massachusetts-dwellers. That is the day when Neil Gaiman will be in town as part of his U.S. book tour promoting "Anansi Boys". I'm already planning to take the day off, take the T into Cambridge (It says "Boston", but that's really Cambridge.), get a couple things signed, namely my battered copy of "The Sandman 3: Dream Country", which would certainly raise the value of that poor little reject from a Pennsylvania library.

Cool. That book will probably become a collectable. Alas, I live a wee bit too far away from Boston to make it. I wonder if anyone is going to show up in costume.

I'm thinking of going in costume as Death (Which, come to think of it, practically translates into "dressing like myself" ;8^) ). Go for it. If it's basically going as yourself you'll be able to do a good job of it. If you see anyone done up as Dream, get a picture. Alas, I look nothing like any of the endless so that is one pleasure I'll never have. Actually that's not quite accurate. I probably look a litle bit like Destruction from the back (mostly because of my hair). I'm considering cross-costuming for Halloween.
