Wierd work day...

There was no one in the store today. I figured everyone would be there, beating the heat, buying ice cream, but I spent most of the day putting away overstock and straightening out the aisles. Then I had floaters of a horde of customers showing up at 8.30 and then we wouldn't get out until after ten. That didn't happen either: I'm amazed. But it took me a while to get out because the closing manager, a Kevin "the Emperor Diocletian" Fesole-wannabe whom I'd never seen before, was on the phone and wouldn't get off when I needed to call home.
