I am:
Samuel R. "Chip" Delany
Few have had such broad commercial success with aggressively experimental prose techniques.

Which science fiction writer are you?

Hm! He and I seem to have gotten the same answer. I've never actually read anything full length by Delany, so I'm a leetle bemused by the answer.

There was also a "Which Classical Composer Are You?" quiz on that same site (Alas, no nifty code to cut and paste). I got Franz Schubert, which came as no surprise: We are/were both devout Catholics, we both have/had brown hair and glasses, both are/were Romantics. Except that I'm taller and skinnier. And female.

I got the same result, and I have no idea who Chip Delany is.

LOL, do you think if I'd selected the thing about "I do not believe someone of my stature should have to suffer fools gladly", it would have said I was Harlan Ellison? :P

Oh, and as far as composers go, I'm Charles Ives. ???

Oh dear God, Dhalgren. If you don't have it, go GET it. Smoke and mirrors, post-Apocalyptic fan-fucking-tastic hands-down single greatest piece of 'science fiction' masterwork I have ever read.

And it takes a lot for me to say that.

To wound the autumnal city:
And so howled out for the world to give him a name.
The in-dark answered with wind.
All you know I know...
