Typical rainy Saturday

...The weather report says that this rain is supposed to knock out the humidity and that "unseasonably cold" weather is supposed to turn up soon. I'm finding that hard to believe, since the rain only seems to be making it feel more humid. Dangit, it feels more like August than Autumn out there. ::Points to her user icon for this entry:: See? auTUMN, not auGUST, whoever-is-in-charge-of-the-weather. I want to be able to wear my trenchcoat again. Soon. Before December, s'il-vous plait. This weather just makes my sinuses pack up all the more...
And first thing this morning, I get a call saying that I didn't have to come in to work today. I contested that, and twisted the Frenchman's arm a little bit: He let me work, and even moved me to a slightly later shift -- 12 to 5 pm. Whew. That way I don't lose a chunk out of my paycheck.
My Hours for Next Week:
Monday: 3 to 6 pm. (and it's a holiday, too! Time and a half pay: Melikes that!)
Wednesday: Ditto.
Thursday: Ditto. (What's with that? I never work Thursdays...)
Friday: Ditto.
Saturday: 4 to 9.30 pm. (Or whenever we get out, if the dumb teenagers drag their heels breaking down the aisles after hours)
Typical rainy Saturday: People have nowhere else to go (especially the way it was pouring), so they do their grocery shopping.
::Off to see what tommorrow's
31_days challenge is and get started on that...::
