matrixrefugeeThere's nothing more magical than going to bed with the world outside your window still grey and brown and dull, and then waking up to find it all silver and white with still-drifting snow.
Of course, nothing was magical about last night, since I got stuck at work till almost ten because the store needed breaking down badly and the place was completely trashed. And unfortunately, that means having to work closely with the dumb teenagers and having to listen to them gabble about their love lives. I don't know if it had to do with Valentine's Day or what. And why do so many people have to associate love with romance and/or sex and only romance and/or sex?! There's more to love than just that. There's family love and friendship-love and above all, there's agape or caritas, but for some reason you just don't hear about it, except from theologians. That's why you see so many bad fanfictions where the fanbrats have clearly confused the real meaning with love with, y'know, carnal friction, as if you couldn't possibly love someone without having to get it on with them. I don't know if this is true of the majority of young people, but I seem to see too much of it for my liking. Thus, I let the snarky fellow front for a while, since he's a lot better at tuning out the teenyboppers than I am.
I got a little work done on the next chapter of "This Shouldn't Be Happening...", but since it's *THAT* time of the month, I'm not at my most productive.
And Siegy hasn't had a very good time either: She was in her first player-versus-player battle with some Machinists last night, but she's still too lower-levelled to really contribute much. Level 19 vs. level 30: Guess who was who and what happened? Poor little gungirl...
