matrixrefugee: the word 'refugee' in electric green with a background of green matrix code (Guadalupe)
This time for a regular appointment with my therapist: I shared with her some of my short term plans and goals, all of which she said sounded really good:

--Set my mind to having the neuropsyche testing (re)done.

--Apply at the library as a volunteer with the summer programs with a view to:

--Possibly getting a job at the library (and finally quitting at the grocery store).

--Getting the wierd screw-up with my comp fixed, since my 'Net connection won't go onto secure servers. I need to do this because:

--I'm going to publish "Motion to Deactivate" as well as "First Time's the Charm" (I need a better title for that) on Lulu.com.

--I'm also going to revise "The Smoke of Satan in Your House" as a straight short story (I'm meshing Father Crowley and Constantine into one character) and put that together as a chapbook, and give part of the proceeds from that to the Save Holy Trinity Fund.

I never posted about Mother's Day...

It was rather quiet, the way it usually is. I cooked lunch for my mom (doesn't sound like a big deal, but when you consider how much I really don't like cooking, this was a tremendous effort for me); I also gave her a (slightly but gently used) copy of Shusuku Endo's novel "Silence", a historical novel about the hardships of a Catholic mission in Japan in the 1600s. She'd been looking for this book for ages, and I finally found it for her on Amazon.com a few weeks back. She was utterly thrilled with that gift!
