Writing commitments
Jun. 26th, 2005 01:01 amI've gotten rather lax with some of my more ambitious writing projects. I'm poking at the last two chapters of "The Smoke of Satan" and I'm looking at the sequel to that, "The Changing of the Guard". And I have yet another ambitious fanfic plot in my head, namely a novel based on the back story of the Merovingian, sort of filling in the blanks which the Wachowski Brothers left behind. I'm considering doing something like NaNoWriMo (that National Novel-Written-in-a-Month which I tried last year and failed miserably with...): Write a short-story/novel a month. I'm giving myself till the end of June to finish "Smoke..." (which is in the home stretch), and till the end of July to write "Guard...". *Then*, in August, I'll start work on the Merv novel, sort of training for NaNoWriMo...
And since the Merv novel also ties in with DegSep, I'll be needing a little help with a few characters who aren't mine. I'll be poking a few of you for certain bits, once in a while, if that's okay with you, or unless this sounds like a wierd idea.
