NaNoWriMo: Renewing my membership
Oct. 6th, 2005 04:11 pmJust reactivated my NaNoWriMo account, and I'd add one of their participant icons to my userinfo page, but for some reason Photobucket is acting up. I hope they figure out what's going on, since I'd hate to lose my account there...
I'm trying to come up with ways to create more writing time for myself, next month: even if you tell yourself that you're *only* writing 1,700 words a day for 30 days, it can still be a little daunting, especially when you're trying to figure out how fit writing time in around work, etc. I ran one idea past my mom: last night, I told her I'd wash the dishes for the entire month of December if she'd wash them for me in November. That way, I'd get in an extra half an hour of writing time. I'm already slashing TV watching and movie rentals to the bone -- though I'm hesitant about giving up "Supernatural". And I'm trying to decide if I'm gonna post it on a seperate LJ, or on here, or if I should post it on fictionpress.com. I'm tempted to go with the last option, since they have a built-in word count. But, there again, I'm downloading OpenOffice for the new comp, and I think the word processor on that has a word count option.
