...One of the spooky sounds CDs I ordered via Amazon.com showed up today, from California. Two days after I ordered it. Amazing... I hope the blessed salt shows up just as speedily.

And be on the lookout for a report that I've gone offline for a few days: tomorrow is the earliest day that the new comp might show up, though I doubt it'll come that fast.

In other news, I'm working on typing up tomorrow's 31_days fic, and I'm poking at the piece that I promised he_dreams_awake. The boys are not being cooperative.

Wet day and MxO music

Gad... I don't mind grey weather since bright sunlight tends to hurt my eyes, but a week of it starts get on even my nerves. I was figuring the New Comp would come today since it was raining, but the fact that it didn't show up is probably a good thing since Angelica the Kid My Mother Babysits was here, and she probably would have monkeyed with the boxes and maybe wrecked it while I was out at work. She's ten years old, but she acts like she's still ten *MONTHS* old... and she's one of the many reasons I ended up deciding I don't want to have kids.

Enough grumbling... I've found a great page full of music from the MxO (the Marketing Brothers' tinkertoy, to the folks on for_zion, the cause for the effect known as wailing and grinding of teeth for some members of the Houseparty). ...Actually, the whole website is the best MxO sites (well, from a Zionite faction member's POV; anyone who knows me knows which faction I'll be part of...) I've seen around, so feel free to take a look at the rest of it: http://www.mxoarchive.com/music.html . I particularly recommend These Two tracks. Granted, the cuts have a slightly cheap/computer game-y sounding electronic backbeat to them, but the main melody is pure Don Davis, the motifs we all know and love and which cause marvelous effects in one's being...
