Snow falling on new Christmas Lights
Jan. 3rd, 2006 01:55 amMy dad has been adding to the light display outside, specifically a new 12-foot tall pyramid tree (it's got long strings of lights going down to the ground... and they twinkle, too!). Plus, he got two 36-foot faux pine garlands with colored lights that look something like those early 20th century thorny-looking lights (except these aren't wired in series, ie. if one bulb goes out they aaaall go out. Anyone remember those?) to put on the bannister going upstairs. He and I put it up just to see if it could be done. Looks nice! I'm planning to take a picture of it and use it for a Christmas card next year.
And as if to mirror the snow outside, it was snowing in the MxO when I "jacked in". Sieges had a lovely evening killing Silver Bullets gang goons/Masked hoodlums, aside from the times she got killed.
Funny line of the night -- This from ingame!Flood at the conclusion of the latest critical mission: "You know, you almost seem competant sometimes. I'm probably just drunk."
